As its coming to the end of the Wedding Fayre season, I thought I'd share with you some pictures from the biggest fayre we have done to date.
Not only was it the largest Wedding Fayre we've been to, it's also the furthest away! Heather, San and Myself loaded up the van and the MINI and trundled off to Kent. We could have been mistaken for heading to a car boot sale with all the mis matched items we had loaded in the van! There were antlers and radios and violins and wellies and chairs and hat boxes which would all come together to make this beautiful wonderful stand (we hoped...)
After getting decidedly lost on the way down, we finally arrived and began setting up. It was all starting to look quite strange at one point but we persevered and we were ready to go at 5pm when it opened to the public and all the lovely brides started arriving. By which point we thought the stand looked pretty good! Let us know what you think
As you can see from the pictures we did have quite a mix of things that decorated the stand, along with the flowers of course!
Many thanks to Louise Bjorling
for the beautiful pictures. (She is really lovely if you're looking for a Wedding Photographer!)
Didn't Jan the Flower do amazing with these arrangements!! The most gorgeous, autumnal feeling, striking PomPom and Table Centrepiece you ever did see!!
Now, I don't know if we shouted about it enough over twitter/facebook/megaphones on the Weekend but.....(*fan-fare*)
WE WON BEST STAND! It was so exciting!!
It's really amazing what you can do with a van full of junk! We'd managed to create this beautiful stand which had so many different elements to it and so many quirky features and items which complemented the flowers perfectly and made us really 'stand' out ;)
We are due to attend the next fayre in Manchester on 26-28th September so we have set the bar for ourselves!!
In the meantime, I shall leave off with more loveliness from The Wedding Fair at Glow, Bluewater
Our Fancy Certificate *oooooooohhhhh*
Hands up if you just want one of these in your house?...
The stand in all its glory! Wellies and all!
