Dried flowers are out of date…. Are they???

Dried flowers are out of date…. Are they???

See what you think of these ideas I’ve used whilst redecorating two of the bedrooms and the bathroom in our farmhouse…
I love them myself. This was a refurbishment on a serious budget. Old boxes and draws found in the attic, old flower pots outside, old vintage bottles and a milk churn that I oiled… You get the idea but these key to the colour and texture in my view are the dried larkspur helichrysum and grasses. See what you think… Instead of mixing the flowers I’ve kept to one idea in each container and where necessary been fairly generous. (The huge old enamel jug took three bunches of larkspur to fill) Even so these flowers for less than the price of one fresh bouquet they have given me pleasure every day and have lasted for over 6 months so far.
Old bottles with different grasses and wheats and barleys in them - I think they look lovely.
Helychrisum, dumosa and for scent a sprig of lavender.
