Easter Flowers

Easter these days often brings to mind chocolate eggs and bunny rabbits, but it’s another time of year where flowers play an important role in the celebrations. Churches will decorated with white lilies and a deluge of daffodils. Many flowers are often seen as symbolic and have a meaning which dates far back into history and ancient Christianity and if you want to reflect the season traditional floral colours are predominantly yellows, buttercreams and whites.   Tulips We LOVE tulips in our farm floristry. They symbolise perfect love, and new life. Bright bunches of tulips represent friendship and happiness.
Narcissi Symbolizing rebirth and new beginnings, the narcissi is virtually synonymous with spring. They are sometimes called jonquils, and in England, because of their long association with Lent, they're known as the "Lent Lily”.
Lilies The most traditional symbol of Easter is the white lily. Long considered an ancient embodiment of the Resurrection, lilies today evoke images of purity, hope, new life and serenity.
Check out our two designs for Easter. These arrangements are absolutely beautiful and come complete with a half pint cream Heron Cross Pottery Jug.   Country Classic Posy | £25 This beautiful tiny posy will be made up with tulips, ranunculus, narcissi, feathers and twigs. It will make the sweetest ever table centre to celebrate Easter in your home, or the perfect "thought that counts" gift for your family and friends.
Shades of Spring Posy | £25 This lovely little posy will vary in terms of flowers but will always have a Spring feel with predominantly yellows and blues. Perfect as an Easter Gift or for your own table. The arrangement comes complete with the 1/2 pint Jug so I hope that you can re-use it afterwards.

Just wanted to say thank you so much for the lovely bouquet of flowers that you sent to my daughter today. She's been shielding since February so these made her day. She was delighted that there were no lilies in the flowers as she suffers with hayfever. Thank you - Helen P

Just to say a lovely thank you for the beautiful arrangement of flowers for the funeral sheaf I ordered for my fathers funeral. He was 91 and always interested in the environment and wildflowers. The arrangement was just perfect. Many thanks once again - Magda B

My family arranged for you to deliver flowers for my birthday last Monday and I have to say that they are the best flowers I have ever received! After a week they are still looking amazing and are likely to do so for several days yet. Thank you very much! - Mary B
