Our Flower Wall for The Hereford Indie Food Festival!
We were very proud to be part of the First Ever Hereford Indie Food Festival! Organized by the fab people from A Rule of Tum, the festival celebrated Herefords indie food culture - featuring music, a bar area, a produce market, talks and of course, lots of fab locally grown and sold food!
The theme for this years' festival was 'Woodland' and so we were commissioned to create a large Woodland wall to fill a very unattractive wall in the car-park/ festival food court! We used lots of our wooden apple crates, lots of cable-ties and loads of oasis as well as a whole range of British Flowers and foliage to fill the wall (all 10 foot of it!). As you can see from the image above we arranged so that the colours got brighter further up the wall - filling every empty crate with a beautiful arrangements, which then wrap between crates (to hide any nastiness!).
Below are a few photos of us constructing the flower wall and many thanks to Colin Nicholls for the amazing photos of the finished wall. Find more of Colin's work here http://www.colinnichollsphotography.com/
Just wanted to say thank you so much for the lovely bouquet of flowers that you sent to my daughter today. She's been shielding since February so these made her day. She was delighted that there were no lilies in the flowers as she suffers with hayfever. Thank you - Helen P
Just to say a lovely thank you for the beautiful arrangement of flowers for the funeral sheaf I ordered for my fathers funeral. He was 91 and always interested in the environment and wildflowers. The arrangement was just perfect. Many thanks once again - Magda B
My family arranged for you to deliver flowers for my birthday last Monday and I have to say that they are the best flowers I have ever received! After a week they are still looking amazing and are likely to do so for several days yet. Thank you very much! - Mary B
