A series of posts showing beautiful photographs of our flowers at real weddings. Rebecca and Sam Barnes - 8th August 2014 Rebecca ordered a delightful package in Lavenders, Blues, Purple and whites, a beautiful British Corsage, a bespoke buttonhole and a vintage Posy. "Sam and I were married on the 8th August this year. We chose The Great British Florist because we wanted to have flowers that weren't imported. Traditional British flowers that matched our traditional, Cotswold village wedding. We were married in the gardens of the Swan Hotel in Bibury, and the flowers complemented the outdoor, vintage feel perfectly. We used the buckets of flowers to fill glass jars that my mother and I had collected from lots of little independent antiques shops. We received numerous compliments from our guests about how stunning the flowers were. We also gave two bouquets to our mothers who were thrilled. They even sent us messages whilst we were on honeymoon to say the flowers still looked beautiful, even after a week. " "Sam and I also felt the personalised service we received from The Great British Florist was top class. Izzy and her team made every effort to make sure the process from start to finish ran smoothly. The staff were kind, caring and went out of their way to provide a unique wedding package for us. We were over the moon with how the flowers looked!" Photographs by Matt Willis of Matt Willis photography.
