OFFER ENDS 11TH FEBRUARY (THAT'S TOMORROW!)

If you wonder why the fourth Sunday in Lent is celebrated as Mothering Sunday you'll need to look back in time to when our larger houses and farms had servants.

Years ago even in our farmhouse there were 12 people "living in". They worked in the house and on the farm, and we can still see the remains of their rooms in our attic. Every year on the fourth Sunday of Lent the folks in service (and often they were children) were allowed to go home for the day and celebrate a break in lent to feast and celebrate with a special service at their Mother Church.

The gift of flowers came about as often on the walk home the servants would a pick a posy for their Mothers from the hedgerows. It seems quite fitting to me to keep this tradition of saying thank you and what better way than with Fresh Flowers - just like they did all those years ago. Of course no need to pick your own and walk home... We'll do that bit for you :)

DELIVERY for MOTHERS DAY - We have made this simple - just select the specific option at the checkout and we will deliver on Sunday 31st March. If you want delivery on an alternative date then please use the normal options.
