To celebrate British Flowers week we asked our customers to nominate someone to receive a wonderful British Flower Posy! We wanted them to nominate someone special who really deserves a treat, never has time for themselves or has overcome some amazing difficulties.
Introducing Jane Rowe - the winner of a Random Act of Floweriness!
We chose Jane because we think that after all she had done for her daughter Stacey, she truly deserves to have her day brightened by our British Flowers!
Jane was nominated by her daughter Stacey who said; "I'd like my mum Jane Rowe to receive a posy because she has given up so much of her time to help me recover from various illness. When I was struggling to leave the house due to anxiety she cancelled or re-arranged plans to be with me, she never got mad when we arranged to do something but never got further than the front door. It is due to her support and patience that I am now able to leave the house and am starting to get my life back. She attended every appointment I had and sat up with me through the night when I was worried. She never let my mood stay low for long and always stayed positive that I get to the other side of my problems, she was my strength when I had none and I'll never be able to thank her enough. I like to treat her whenever I can and I know how much she loves receiving flowers so this would be ideal for her to receive."
When we revealed Stacey's nomination to Jane and told her she'd won Jane commented; "Thank you so much for your email. I was so surprised and touched to have been nominated and it's lovely to have won! Stacey is a wonderful daughter and I would do anything for her. Obviously, I don't do it for any more reward than seeing her happy but it is lovely to recognised for it and know she does appreciate the things I do, and of course as flowers are one of my favourite things in the world this prize is perfect for me and is much appreciated."
Thanks to all of the people who nominated someone to win a Random Act of Kindness - we were inundated with truly amazing stories and people who deserve to have their day brightened, unfortunately we only have 10 posies to send - but we really appreciate the time taken to get involved and nominate someone.
Check back over the upcoming weeks to see the remaining winners!
Just wanted to say thank you so much for the lovely bouquet of flowers that you sent to my daughter today. She's been shielding since February so these made her day. She was delighted that there were no lilies in the flowers as she suffers with hayfever. Thank you - Helen P
Just to say a lovely thank you for the beautiful arrangement of flowers for the funeral sheaf I ordered for my fathers funeral. He was 91 and always interested in the environment and wildflowers. The arrangement was just perfect. Many thanks once again - Magda B
My family arranged for you to deliver flowers for my birthday last Monday and I have to say that they are the best flowers I have ever received! After a week they are still looking amazing and are likely to do so for several days yet. Thank you very much! - Mary B
