We were thrilled to win the National Blossom d’Amour Award For Funeral Floristry at The Good Funeral Awards 2013. Whilst I suppose a Good Funeral Awards could be perceived as a little bit odd (and the trophies were indeed miniature coffins) in actual fact The Good Funeral Guide and the Good Funeral Awards have been set up to celebrate excellence in the funeral industry and that must be a really good thing.
For us to win an award was fantastic for us and for British Flowers as a whole, and we were really pleased to receive our award from Pam St Clements aka Pat Butcher from Eastenders. See all the award winners here
(and yes that is a British Flower Bouquet that is being presented to Pam :0)
At the same event some amazing Pebble Coffins were launched and we were asked to design some flowers in keeping with the natural shape and texture. This called for some innovation as the flowers needed to be flexible, beautiful and above all completely natural.
