We'll be at Hellens Garden Festival!

The 2016 Hellens Garden Festival, running on 11th and 12th June, is a charity fund-raising event that will be donating all proceeds to the wonderful St Michael's Hospice and Back to the Wild project. Set in the beautiful and entrancing gardens of Hellens Manor, this Festival celebrates all aspects of gardening, and encourages gardening and growing plants whatever your space; from a balcony to patio, garden to allotment, field to woodland. Our very own Heather Gorringe will be speaking on the Saturday at 4pm in the Georgian Stables! Giving a live demonstration of how to arrange some British Flowers! The theme of If we nurture Nature, Nature will nurture us will explore different relationships and connections to our natural environment that will promote and sustain our gardens and wildlife, which will help reap the glories of nature for the benefit of all. Award winning gardener, Hannah Genders and allotment guru, Terry Walton will be joining us along with, over 80 exhibitors, speakers on all things horticultural, and interactive ‘walk and talks’ with experts who will explore the richness of the Hellens gardens. Engaging artisan craftsmen will share their knowledge, creative children’s activities, delicious local food and drink, and lively music sets. With our wonderful working partners, Herefordshire Wildlife Trust and The RSPB, whose ethos and values are so closely aligned with ours, Hellens Garden Festival will appeal to every sort of gardener and family.'
