Covid 19: FAQ’s
We’re very much open for business and sending out flowers. We are really pleased to be supporting UK Flower Farmers and helping send a Brighter Day to so many people all over the Country. We’re also really pleased to be supporting Rotary to help those in need at the moment. To find out more read our Covid 19 FAQ’s
Are you still delivering?
We are still sending out flowers to send a Brighter Day. ALL our flowers are now British Grown, and we are harvesting from our cutting patch and walled garden and supporting our existing UK flower farmers and have managed to support new ones as well. You can choose a delivery date and we are offering next day delivery on a regular basis. Sometimes if need be we block out next day so that we can cope so if you want a delivery on a specific date please order early.
What about your guarantee policy?
As always, we offer a no-quibble flower guarantee. If you have a problem with a delivery just email us firstname.lastname@example.org with photos of what the problem is and we will be pleased to sort this out as always
How can I get in touch?
Our phone lines are not open but you can email us – email@example.com and we will get back to you very quickly.
How are you looking after your workers?
We are using UK government guidelines to ensure our team is as safe as possible. We have home working in place for those who can and we are so pleased to be working on a farm so there is plenty of space. Our floristry is an old pig shed so again we have protocols in place and everything set up for safe flower deliveries and collections.
We have completed our risk assessments and increased our hygiene standards and cleaning schedules - and every team member has access to all the usual protection (gloves, masks, and hand sanitiser etc)
How are you making deliveries safe?
Our carriers are DPD and are operating a contact free delivery service – and as usual you can request special delivery instructions in the checkout.
Are all your products still available?
At the moment, we have good availability on most arrangements. We have good stocks of dried flowers and the only issues we have had is with quantity of flowers or length of stems and so where this has been an issue we have been unable to make up the bouquets (as they need tall stems) or the buckets of blooms. Each week this improves so fingers crossed.
How are you looking after your suppliers?
We have been pleased to maintain excellent relationships with our suppliers. We are taking responsibility for our commitments and will not be changing payment terms or asking our suppliers for discounts.
What support are you giving to those in need in this crisis?
We have been pleased with the support of our fabulous cutting patch chaps to have been able to donate over £4000 to our Rotary Club. We are proud members of Rotary and this donation has gone to support their efforts in supporting charities and volunteer groups locally, nationally and internationally.
We really appreciate your continued support of our farm in these challenging times. It is amazing to be part of the renaissance of British Flowers so we will continue to Keep Calm and Smell the Flowers xx
